Description of training

Get to know agile principles in an experiential way. lego4scrum is a full-day workshop where you will experience agile management and Scrum methodology in practice in a fun team simulation. You will learn about modeling personas and their needs, creating and maintaining a backlog, introducing Minimum Viable Product and conducting retrospectives. The event is suitable for 2 teams of min. 4 people, we will provide workshop facilitation including all necessary tools and materials.

What you will learn at the training

  • We will explain agile values and principles – You will learn about the agile philosophy, understand the meaning of agile methods and practices and realize their differences from the classic approach to project management.
  • Experience Scrum first-hand – Simulation on a real example will allow you to understand the principle and the interdependence of individual practices.
  • We will share tips and tricks from practice – We have been developing software ourselves for almost 20 years and we can’t do it any other way than the agile way. We bring our experience and best practices from practice to this workshop.

What you will try

  • Modelling personas and their needs – Better understand who your end users are and what their needs are.
  • Backlog creation and maintenance – You will learn several methods for estimating workload, prioritizing and scheduling work
  • Introducing MVP (Minimum Viable Product) – Thanks to it, you will get faster user feedback on the product and at the same time verify its potential on the market with regard to further development.
  • Conducting retrospectives – You will understand that continuous improvement in collaboration and creating an environment of trust is 50% of success.

For how big a team we will prepare the workshop

  • At least 2 teams of at least 4 people, ideally represented by the entire company hierarchy.
  • The workshop will last the whole day.
