Most conferences end with a business card exchange and superficial contacts. We’ve proven that just one day is enough to build real professional relationships. We’ll tell you how we did it and what exactly worked.
In September, we invited dozens of professionals from leading Czech companies to our Partner Conference. The event took place at the former manor house Pecínov near Benešov.
“I’m proud of you, you’re the best,” wrote one of the participants in their feedback. How did we manage this? We believe that quality interactions happen when people meet in an environment that fosters openness and collaboration. That’s why we structured the conference program around three core principles of effective collaboration – culture, processes, and tools.
From getting to know each other to inspiration

The day began unconventionally – instead of formal introductions, we included “Orchestra dating.” Managers from companies like T-Mobile, Notino, and Seznam learned more about participants they had never met before in just half an hour than they would in a typical full-day event. This moment broke the ice and set the tone for the entire day.
The morning was dedicated to inspiration. We discussed how to keep up with the competition through strategic portfolio management, how to truly digitalize support processes, and most importantly, how to build a corporate culture that supports innovation. Not theoretically – through real case studies.
After a shared lunch, we divided into three workshops where participants could literally get hands-on with the tools and methods discussed in the morning.
Workshops: where theory becomes practical

In one room, the power of trust and 360° feedback was explored, in another, participants dove into Jira Product Discovery to learn how to select the right projects. The third group explored how to automate Asset Management to truly serve people, not paperwork.
During Lean Coffee, topics such as open salaries or the role and importance of corporate vision spontaneously emerged – things that might not have come up in a typical conference format.
When Sherlock Holmes helps build relationships

Just when it seemed like the brains needed a break, it was time for Sherlock Holmes. No, we’re not kidding. Investigation teams rushed into the surrounding forests, fields, and pastures. They worked on cases and overcame obstacles set up by the devious Moriarty.
In various mixed groups, participants had the opportunity to get to know each other in unusual situations and even engage in a bit of friendly competition. In the evening, discussions were in full swing at the bowling alley, pool tables, and over delicious food.
The Most Valuable Moments Happen Between the Lines of the Program

What did we confirm again? That the most valuable moments happen between the lines of the program. That when you give people space and a safe environment, they begin to share experiences and solutions on their own. And most importantly – that real change begins where theory meets practice and formal programs intersect with informal conversations.
