At the beginning of 2025, Atlassian will automatically migrate all Jira Work Management users to the unified <strong>Jira platform<\/strong>. This change will bring a stronger connection between <strong>business<\/strong> and <strong>software teams<\/strong>. What exactly will happen to your <strong>licenses<\/strong>, <strong>data<\/strong>, and <strong>apps<\/strong>?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-purple-0-background-color has-background\">Why is Atlassian Moving to the Unified <strong>Jira Platform<\/strong>?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-purple-0-background-color has-background\">By combining <strong>Jira Work Management<\/strong> with <strong>Jira Software<\/strong> into one tool, <strong>Atlassian<\/strong> is responding to the need for more efficient collaboration between <strong>business<\/strong> and <strong>software teams<\/strong>. The result is a centralized platform that offers everything you loved about <strong>Jira Work Management<\/strong>, with the advantage of seamlessly integrated features from <strong>Jira Software<\/strong>. We\u2019ve written more about the unification in this <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/orchestra.morosystems.cz\/en\/blog\/just-jira-what-does-the-unification-of-instruments-mean-to-you\/\">blog post<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Automatick\u00e1-migrace-od-roku-2025\">Automatic migration from 2025<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"padding-top:0px;padding-bottom:0px\">All customers with an active <strong>Jira Work Management<\/strong> subscription will be automatically migrated to <strong>Jira Cloud<\/strong> at the beginning of 2025. During this automatic process, the following steps will take place:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Subscription Merge<\/strong>: Your JWM license will be merged with your existing <strong>Jira license<\/strong>, if you already have one.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>User Limits<\/strong>: If the number of users migrating from JWM exceeds your current user limit in <strong>Jira<\/strong>, your plan will be upgraded for free to a higher level until the end of the current billing period.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>New Jira License for Customers Without Jira<\/strong>: If you are not currently using <strong>Jira<\/strong>, a corresponding <strong>Jira license<\/strong> with the appropriate number of users will be created for you during migration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>At the end of this transition period, you\u2019ll receive a <strong>10% discount<\/strong> on your <strong>Jira subscription<\/strong> during the next renewal. Please note that unification of licenses may result in a higher price during the next renewal due to potential increases in the user tier or product edition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Dopad-na-va\u0161e-data-a-Marketplace-aplikace\">Impact on your data and Marketplace apps<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Your <strong>data<\/strong>, <strong>projects<\/strong>, and <strong>tasks<\/strong> in <strong>Jira Work Management<\/strong> will remain unchanged. No special <strong>data migration<\/strong> will be necessary. Marketplace apps will continue to function as before. If there\u2019s an increase in the number of users and thus a potential increase in the pricing level for apps, <strong>Atlassian<\/strong> will cover this increase for the remainder of your current billing period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-purple-0-background-color has-background\"><strong>Atlassian tools<\/strong> are not just about <strong>Jira<\/strong>.
